Choral Arts Ensemble's season draws to an exhilarating close with music for the springtime from some of America's favorite composers and folk traditions. Guest conductor Matthew Culloton will lead the singers in a program that includes traditional concert works, including Aaron Copland's Lark and Cecil Effinger's Four Pastorales for choir and oboe, and favorite folk songs like She'll be Comin' Round the Mountain, The Gift to Be Simple, and Shall We Gather at the River. The premiere of a new work by Brian Holmes, winner of our third annual CAE Commissioning Contest, will also be featured on the program. Don't miss out on one of our most exciting season finales ever!
